Synopsis
“Who
Kidnapped Grandma?” is an action comedy about Anna and Grandma
and a horny boyfriend, a fugitive bank robber, a sexy reporter,
a sleazy politician, a homeless man, a chambermaid, earthquakes,
tsunamis and a lot of cheap Viagra.
While
watching cable news about an earthquake in Mexico, Anna is
shocked to see her long-lost missing twin sister Amanda working
for the Cuban Red Cross. After an unfortunate run-in with a
social worker, Anna determines her only choice is to take her
boyfriend Henry and the comatose Grandma she cares for on a trip
to Mexico to reunite with her missing sister. Time is short -
Just one night before her sister leaves for Indonesia.
Just
as things finally start to work out for Anna she meets Oscar, a
dopey looking bank robber on the run from the police. In a
hilarious comic mix-up, Oscar kidnaps Grandma and hides a stolen
diamond ring in her bra. Out of luck and out of time, Anna now
must race to find both Grandma and her sister by the end of the
day. Fortunately, Anna has a friend in a very high place.
