Synopsis
"Ash Mountain"
The
green serpent on Eurydice's
back foretells the disaster facing Orpheus and his wife at Ash
Mountain in this heart-pounding supernatural thriller. Orpheus
is an aging rocker living in Los Angeles with his smoldering but
unsatisfied wife when she abruptly leaves him for Ash Mountain
with their two small children. The shock throws Orpheus into a
spiral of haunting visions, drugs and sex that ultimately lead
him to confront the darkness at the heart of Ash Mountain.
Based
on real events surrounding a suburb reduced to ash by Mount
St. Helens in Washington State, "Ash Mountain"
is Brandon Blake's second feature following his collaboration
with Daniel Myrick, co-creator of "The Blair Witch
Project," on the thriller "The Presence" starring
Oscar winner Mira Sorvino and Justin Kirk.
